From iron
forged by fire
to fragrance
carried by flame.
For generations, our family shaped iron. Heat, hammer, and patience — raw metal made into something lasting. That lineage lives in the Henry Ford Museum today, a testament to what hands can build when craft is taken seriously.
Anvil Candles was born in 2019 from that same devotion. The anvil — ancient symbol of transformation, of fire meeting form — became our emblem. Not as nostalgia, but as a promise.
Every candle begins with 100% soy wax, two cotton wicks set by hand, and non-toxic essential oil blends. No phthalates, no parabens, no formaldehyde. Poured at the precise temperature to lock fragrance deep into the wax, then left to cure fully before it ever leaves our hands.
Thank you for inviting us into your home, and for letting us share something handmade.
"The anvil is symbolic of transformation and creation. Anvil Candles is our way to keep the flame of handmade goods alive."— Anvil Candles, Hudson NY
